Timbaland foi criticado nas redes sociais, no fim de semana, após comparar o novo álbum do The Weeknd, “Dawn FM”, ao lendário “Thriller” de Michael Jackson. The Weeknd lançou seu novo projeto na sexta-feira após um curto prazo: “Este álbum é diferente de todos. Isso parece o Thriller “, disse Timbaland em live no Instagram após ouvir o projeto.” Acredite em mim quando digo a você – yo! Parabéns. Essa projeto é incrível”, falou Timbaland.
Após a declaração, ele foi bombardeado nas redes sociais: “Eu me amarro no Timbaland, mas esse tipo de comparação é maluca e desrespeitosa com o thriller de Michael jackson”, escreveu uma pessoa. Outro acrescentou: “Timbaland falando sobre como o novo trabalho do The Weeknd é parecido com Thriller’ me deixou nervoso”, começou.
Thriller é amplamente considerado um dos melhores álbuns pop de todos os tempos. O álbum foi lançado em novembro de 1982 e foi produzido por Quincy Jones. Jones aparece no interlúdio “A Tale by Quincy”, da Dawn FM”.
